As an accomplished Professional in Human Resource and Administrative Management who combines extensive Industry expertise in both the private and public sectors, and proven track record in leading project teams, she has honed her skills in banking, and Government Administration. Demonstrating a natural aptitude for multitasking and the ability to balance multiple complex priorities, she remains committed to creating and delivering change for maximum impact.
Leader of various initiatives with boundless passion and dedication, she is involved in many civic activities within her immediate community. Her mantra is to drive transformation by mentoring young people in her community, a duty she prides herself in as a trained children’s advocate.
Currently, she serves as Justice of the Peace for Kingston and as a trained Lay Magistrate within one of the major Court in St Andrew. Additionally, she serves in various capacities namely: President of the Pembroke Hall Civic Association, Chairman of the Pembroke Hall Primary School, and Board Member of the Pembroke Hall High School. Previously appointed to serve as a Director on the following Public Sector Boards namely; Water Resources Authority, Jamaica Information Service, Kingston Free zone, she currently serves on the Women’s Centre of Jamaica Foundation, the Culture, Health, Arts, Sports and Education (CHASE) Fund, and the Jamaica Cultural Development Commission.
As a strong advocate for women and women’s rights, she was the recipient of the International Women’s Achiever’s Award, March, 2019, Canada for community leadership, and the Social Development Commission’s Award, 2018 for leadership and community development.
