I am 17 years old. My baby is two months old. Can I still attend your institution?

Yes. The Programme for Adolescent Mothers is for teen mothers under the age of 18. The programme is for teen girls who have had a baby, who are pregnant and need to continue their education. 

I am 15 years old and just found out I am pregnant. What should I do?

Pregnant girls younger than 16 years old must report to CISOCA, who will then automatically refer you to us.

What documents are needed to enrol in the programme?

2 Passport size photographs

Birth Certificate 

Registration fee

My baby is one week old. I want to enrol in your programme but need somewhere to leave my baby while attending your school. What should I do?

Register and take the baby to school with you. All WCJF Centres have a daycare service where you can leave your babies while you attend to cases. This service comes at no cost

Is there a cut-off period for registration?

There is no cut-off time. We accept applications year-round.

Do I have to pay a fee to attend the Women’s Centre?

We ask for a contribution of $8,000.00 from students in grade 10 and above and $5,000.00 for students in grade nine and below. However, students can still enroll if they cannot afford the contribution. 

I do not have anywhere to live, can I live at the Centre?

NO. We only offer day services, Monday to Friday, 8:00 am – 4:00 pm
