A glamorous black tie affair dubbed “Women’s Centre of Jamaica Foundation Charity Ball and Fundraising Dinner” was launched in 2018 to raise funds for the delivery of the A-STREAM programme. The fundraiser combines elegance, entertainment, and philanthropy to create a memorable evening that aligns with the vision of triumph over trials and setbacks at various levels.

Event Purpose:

The primary objective of the WCJF Charity Ball and Fundraising Dinner is to raise 10 million dollars to ensure one hundred (100) adolescent mothers complete secondary education, while another twenty-five (25) get support to pursue tertiary/vocational training. Additionally, the event will bring awareness to challenges faced by adolescent mothers in pursuit of their education, and the work the WCJF has done for four decades to help teen mothers break the cycle of poverty.
