Run For Mom 5K Supports WCJF
The Women’s Centre of Jamaica Foundation has been featured in The Gleaner following the inaugural Run For Mom 5K, which brought out approximately 500 participants in Tivoli Gardens in support of facilities serving mothers.
The charity event raised funds for the Women’s Centre of Jamaica Foundation, Victoria Jubilee Hospital and Charles Chin Loy Maternity Hospital. Executive Director, Ms Novlette Howell, expressed gratitude for the support, noting that the assistance will help young mothers enrolled in the Foundation’s programme to continue their education.
